Today, 08/06/2026, the introductory meetings of the Local Community Platforms in Daquq District officially commenced with the participation of members representing community platforms: Kurds and Kaka'is. These meetings mark the beginning of the platforms’ activities within the framework of the “Nabhni” Project.
The project is implemented by the Peace and Freedom Organization in partnership with the Kurdistan Organization for Human Rights Monitoring, with support and funding from the Norwegian refugees Council.
We look forward to strengthening dialogue, cooperation, and active participation among all components of the local community to promote sustainable development and social cohesion in the region.
