A Specialized Workshop Between Civil Society Organizations in the Kurdistan Region and the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations in Baghdad
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance communication channels and develop mechanisms for joint action, Al-Mesalla Organization, in cooperation with the Peace and Freedom Organization, organized a specialized workshop on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
The workshop aimed to strengthen consultation and coordination between civil society organizations in the Kurdistan Region and the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in Baghdad.
The workshop featured constructive discussions focused on addressing procedural challenges and aligning perspectives, contributing to a more effective and sustainable working environment for civil society organizations across the country.
We were honored to host a distinguished delegation from the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations in Baghdad, including Mr. Thamer Mohsen Yase – Senior Director of Audit; Mr. Asaad Kazem Hussein – Senior Director; Mr. Maher Aziz Ibrahim – Legal Advisor; and Mr. Wissam Hashem Mohammed – Chief Clerk.
