Peace and Freedom Organization, within the NABNI (Building for Peace – B4P) Project, announces an open call for applications to recruit a Community Dialogue and Engagement Facilitator to work in Kirkuk Governorate / Daquq District.

 

The project aims to strengthen social cohesion and inclusive governance through organizing community dialogue sessions, participatory meetings, and promoting transparency and accountability in conflict-affected areas.

 

📍 Duty Station:
Kirkuk Governorate – Daquq District

📅 Contract Duration:
From May 2026 to August 2026

🕒 Number of Working Days:
16 working days

 

📌 Main Responsibilities:
• Facilitate dialogue sessions within groups and between community groups
• Manage community discussions using conflict-sensitive approaches
• Support validation meetings with government entities and local authorities
• Ensure inclusive and transparent participation of all targeted groups
• Prepare reports and documentation related to sessions and meetings
• Deliver ready-made training presentations and materials related to the training topics
• Facilitate community engagement, peacebuilding, and social cohesion activities
• Prepare analytical reports on participants’ information and assess knowledge and value-based changes among participants

 

🎓 Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, political science, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facilitating dialogue and community engagement
• Experience in peacebuilding, governance, or social cohesion programs
• Experience working in conflict-affected areas (Kirkuk or Sinjar preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage sensitive discussions
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required; Kurdish language is considered an asset
